2022 -2023 Annual Report Highlights

In the 2022-2023 school year, the Teaching Well continued to stand by our school and non-profit clients across the nation to uplift wellness and sustainability in education settings. We can no longer bypass the teacher to get to the student. The data shows that by centering the wellbeing of staff, building their capacity to effectively communicate and collaborate, and creating sustainable systems of support, that we have retained more teachers in the field, saved schools millions of dollars and improved the lives of educators. This in turn, supports students and communities at large. The Teaching Well continues to successfully carry out our mission of creating thriving ecosystems that allow organizations to more effectively retain, support, and leverage the brilliance of their teams.

“The Teaching Well has been a consistent intervention and one of the primary ways we have been able to stabilize the school. There is measurable evidence of improvement in our personal wellness practices and communication across difference. TTW has helped cultivate a healthier culture while centering professional growth and learning.”

~ Dolores Brown, Principal Aspire GSP

The best part about my sessions with The Teaching Well has been the ability to be seen not just as a teacher, not just as a mom, but as Magdaline who is all of these things plus more, all at once. The first point was finding me. Seeing me. Sometimes it’s so easy to be mentally absent because you have so much to carry, you are going through so much. Mindful Mentoring allowed me to find space to show up for my daughter and for myself again.”
